Friends’ Instagram stories supplied the public evidence for Post Malone and stylist Christy Lee’s reported engagement, while the couple has not announced it themselves.
Post Malone and Christy Lee are reportedly engaged, based on Instagram stories shared by friends of the stylist. The posts showed the pair celebrating, and photos included Lee wearing a diamond ring, a white veil and a “Bride to Be” sash.
Neither Malone, 31, nor Lee had publicly announced the engagement on their own social-media accounts when the reports were published. A representative for Malone did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
A busy public year for Malone
The reported engagement arrives during a major year of live appearances for Malone. In April, he headlined the final night of Stagecoach in Indio, California.
He also headlined the FIFA World Cup 2026 closing ceremony in New Jersey this summer, where he debuted new music and performed “Sunflower” with Swae Lee.
Malone’s 2016 mixtape August 26 is also approaching its 10th anniversary. He announced that the project would become available for streaming on Aug. 26.
What is publicly known about the engagement
Marina Hollyer, identified in reports as a close friend of Lee’s, shared images of the couple on Instagram stories and wrote that her “best friend in the world just got engaged.” Her posts included photos of Malone and Lee with friends in front of a flower arch and at dinner.
Brooke Donovan also shared a photo of Malone and Lee embracing, writing, “So happy for you both.” In another image described in coverage, Lee displayed a large diamond ring on her left hand while wearing the veil and sash.
The available posts offer public support for the reported engagement, but they do not establish a wedding date, venue, guest list or other plans. Malone and Lee have not provided those details publicly.
Utah was the reported proposal setting
Coverage of the celebration placed the proposal in Utah, where Malone resides. The photos shared by friends appeared to show a gathering after the proposal.
That leaves some details unresolved. It is unclear when the proposal occurred or whether the online celebration represented the full event or a gathering held afterward.
For now, the report rests on the friends’ social-media posts and the images they shared, rather than on a direct statement from Malone or Lee.
The couple were first linked in 2025
Malone and Lee were first romantically linked in March 2025. They were later photographed together in Paris during a dinner outing and shopping trip, according to Page Six.
Reports have described Lee as a stylist. Some entertainment coverage has also reported that the couple split after about two months of dating and later rekindled their relationship. Neither Malone nor Lee has publicly outlined their relationship timeline.
The reported engagement comes more than a year after the pair first sparked romance rumors.
Malone’s previous engagement and family context
Before his relationship with Lee, Malone was engaged to Hee Sung “Jamie” Park. The former couple share a daughter, who was born in 2022, and reports said their engagement ended in late 2024.
People reported that Malone and Park settled a custody dispute in November, with the terms of their agreement sealed.
The reported engagement to Lee is a separate personal milestone. Beyond the friends’ congratulatory posts, no public wedding plans have been announced.
